The agri-touristic centre



From a good and careful restoration of an old hay-loft and of the cowshed below, some spacious rooms have been obtained for the agri-touristic receptivity.

The agri-touristic biological farm “Ciaolatte” is situated next to the firm’s dairy, deeply immersed in the natural quietness and in the green countryside of the nearest hills around Parma.

It’s possible to taste the classical dishes of the Parmesan cuisine, personally prepared by our good woman cook, inside the ancient restored restaurant, involved ina comfortable and plain atmosphere.

NB: The Agri-Touristic Centre is only open on Friday and Saturday evening and on Sunday for lunch.

 
 

The cuisine and the menu

 
 

Our cuisine generally offers simple and traditional dishes, with products coming entirely from the farm’s agricultural production.

The typical dishes you can taste inside our restaurant (with 140 seats) are the following:

As starters you can have pork products (ham, salam,…), fresh cheese, roast slices of bread, buttermilk curd with sauces, grilled pickled in oil vegetables.

The menu at choice offers the typical dishes of our area, as pasta with different sauces (mushrooms or meat), pasta stuffed with potatoes, with pumpkin, with spinach and many types of “risotto”.

The main courses also include dishes based on meat, especially roasts, game as hare or wild boar with maize, porridge and other dishes at choise.

All the dessert are home-made.

 
The accomodation



The agri-touristic farm is equipped with 8 bedrooms all furnished with private bathroom; one of these with facilities for handicapped people.

All the rooms are large and comfortable, ideal to spend a short relaxing holiday in, deeply in touch with the quiet and natural landscape surrounding.
